The color is beautiful and perfect for autumn, and I love that it's buildable — you can keep it soft or layer it up for more intensity. For me it feels more matte than hydrating, so in colder, drier weather I'd prep with a lip balm first. Overall a really pretty lip! I received this product for free from Kulfi Beauty."
"I received a lip stain that only had a tiny bit at the very bottom. The product only touched about 1/8 inch of the tip of the applicator. I emailed about it, sent photos with requested lot #, and was sent another tube with same lot # and same problem! Will not recommend nor purchase again."
"This lip stain is magic! It creates a soft, almost watercolor blur look on the lips. It feels very light, not a thick, heavy coat. The staining level seems to be better on the darker shades. My one complaint is it seems to be a steep price for the size of the product you receive, but I haven't used up a whole tube yet so I don't know how long a tube will last. . . the product is very thin and light in texture so it doesn't take much to coat the lips."
"On my lips the stain doesn't last very long and sometimes dries my lips out....but I still love it. The color (Jujube Fizz) is a great neutral, natural-looking red on me, and goes with a lot of things. It also looks very nice under there First Sari lip oil, gices it a little more intensity. I love both these colors so much I don't mind reapplying, even though of course I would prefer an actual stain. Still happy with my purchases"

"Bought this stain in both Noon Chai and Earl Grey and while I love the colors, the pigment and the application, the formula is extremely drying on my lips. I experimented with layering lip balms before and after application but everything I tried broke up the pigment and left me with a very patchy stain. Hoping for better luck with the oil stain!"
"I was very exited when I saw the ad and reviews as all my other lip stains are glossy. Unfortunately these do not have the staying power advertised on me. My Rare Beauty Lip stain oil remain my favorite and longer lasting ones. I would say after a couple of hours it was gone. When the rare beauty oil/gloss wears off it leave me a beautiful natural stain for hours."
"I was disappointed with the lip matte and oil stain products because they were not very pigmented. After applying them, the color faded within minutes and did not show up well on my skin tone. The products may work better for individuals with lighter skin tones, but they did not provide the color payoff I expected. I would like to request a refund of the $84 purchase price."
"I got three of them and all are fabulous colors. It suits my tanned brown complexion very well. Doesn’t smudge and sticks true to the nature of lip stain. The only downside is it makes my lips too dried and chapped though my lips are very hydrated and so my body. I bought with an intent to wear them to my daily job but now I switch to for parties and interview."
